When the first generation of YotaPhone was launched, it had invoked a lot of interest. The smartphone boasted of a dual display setup with the secondary display being an E-ink display. The makers of YotaPhone thought it to be a good thing if they could force some of the notifications and allow users to read e-books on the secondary screen. The latest iterative upgrade, the YotaPhone is slated to be released shortly. However, some of the renders of the Yota 3 have been leaked.

The first thing I noticed is the slimmer bezels, yes both the top and the bottom bezels are not thinner. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the physical home button, and the renders show a single rear camera setup. The secondary e-ink display is accompanied with tailor made navigation method, and the overall design is impressive.

As per the leak, the front display of the Yota 3 is a 5.5-inch FHD unit while the secondary e-ink display is a 5.2-inch 720p unit. The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 625 with 4GB of RAM and a choice between 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The device is backed by a 3,200mAh battery and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

The camera options on the Yota 3 is expected to be made up of a 12-Megapixel rear camera and a 13-Megapixel front facing/selfie camera. The leaks further claim that the Yota 3 will sport USB Type-C for charging and is expected to be priced at $350 for the 64GB variant while the 128GB variant may be priced a tad bit higher at $450.
